QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

No. The visa can be used for repeated visits during its 1-year validity period, but each visit allows a stay of up to 60 days. It is not a permit to remain in Indonesia continuously for one year.

You may use the visa for multiple trips while it remains valid. There is no fixed number of entries shown on the visa, but every arrival is still subject to immigration checks and you must follow the permitted tourism or visit purpose.

Yes. A new stay period of up to 60 days is calculated from each arrival in Indonesia, provided your visa is still valid and immigration permits your entry. Leaving and returning does not extend the visa’s original 1-year expiry date.

An extension may be requested before the current stay permit expires. Extensions are not automatic and remain subject to applicable immigration requirements and approval.

The visa expiry date determines whether you can use it for another entry. Your permitted stay after arrival is controlled by the stay permit issued for that visit. Check both the visa expiry date and your current stay-permit expiry date to avoid overstaying.
